The Fresh Start Furniture Program provides gently used, quality furniture and home goods donations to families and individuals who financially qualify. The pilot program of Found in Faith Ministries- Fresh Start began in late 2015 and since served over 160 families in need and more than 140 donors. Fresh Start is run 100% by volunteers from numerous local area churches. Bel Air United Methodist Church graciously donates the use of their box truck several times a month along with our current storage facility which is located at 21 Linwood Ave. Bel Air, MD 21014.
Those in need of help should call 443-519-2464 to request a donation. Our services are based on our income guidelines which can be found here. We will be transitioning to a referral only service in 2018.
All needs as well as donation offers are approved and scheduled by appointment only. We encourage the pick-up or drop-off of items if at all possible, however we do offer pick-up and delivery of items that are unable to be transported. This service usually takes 1-4 weeks to schedule and we request a small monetary donation of $20 to cover associated costs.
